MUMBAI : The third season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss OTT has already generated a lot of hype among viewers. Anil Kapoor is hosting the show this time instead of Salman Khan. An almost definitive promo for the actor's role as Salman Khan's replacement has already been released by the makers. They've since released more pictures, this time with a new host. However, in none of the promos or photos, the face has been revealed.
Jio Cinema posted the pictures on Instagram along with the caption, “Tell us if you’ve ever seen such a ‘good looking’ s̶i̶l̶h̶o̶u̶e̶t̶t̶e̶ ̶ host #BiggBossOTT3 coming this June on JioCinema Premium.”
Fans could be seen reacting as soon as the pictures were released. Anil Kapoor was their prediction, and they noted it in the comment area. Numerous hearts emojis and some even referred to the contestants.
Recently, a promo video was shared and it was confirmed that Anil Kapoor is the new host. He has assured us that this season will be ‘Khaas’ The video opens with fights between contestants and suddenly a man is seen entering the room. His face is not shown but from his voice, it is clear that he is Anil Kapoor. He asked to bring the chair and said ‘Bahot hua jhakas, karte hai iss baar kuch khaas.”
Jio Cinema shared the video and wrote, “A new host for the new season of Bigg Boss OTT! Aur Bigg Boss ki tarha, inki awaaz hi kaafi hai.” The reality show will start in June. The date has not been shared.
Surprisingly, Endemol Shine India, the production company behind Bigg Boss, announced Bigg Boss OTT 3 on its official Instagram account in April of this year. They shared a poster where Salman could be seen asking questions and gesturing at the crowd, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT.” However, the post was deleted later.
It should be mentioned that Salman Khan has also been in the news lately for shooting outside his Mumbai apartments around this time. In the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai, bullets were fired in front of Khan's Galaxy Apartments on April 14.
Afterward, it was claimed that the attack was carried out by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of the criminal, took credit for the shooting event on Facebook.
