MUMBAI:  Falaq Naaz is doing decently well in her professional life. Her sting in ‘Bigg Boss 15’ proved that she is someone who is matured and patient. Now, in an interview with an entertainment portal, Falaq shared her thoughts and experience on being financially cheated, on facing rejections and one of the biggest shocks in her personal life – the arrest of her brother Sheezan Khan on his girlfriend Tunisha Sharma’s death.

Falaq shared, “We come here to become actors. If I was rigid at that time and said that I only want to do leading roles, I would face rejection. For me I always wanted to do good work and take responsibility of the house. I do not regret that I haven't done many leading roles. I have always wanted to strong roles and it is these characters that take you too bigger heights of stardom.”

When asked if she was ever financially cheated, Falaq said, “It was hardly my third or fourth show. I faced payment related issues. I had really begged and cried but the producers did not release my payment. It is then that I went to a political party and they helped me. It is because of this reason that I am scared to work with new production houses. It is not that I do not encourage new people but I am resistant because of what happened with me in the past.”

Falaq even threw light on Sheezan’s arrest and Tunisha Sharma’s death on how she came to know about the demise and how she dealt with the news of her brother’s arrest.

She averred, “I was shooting when I got a call from my mother. She did not tell me about Tunisha's death. My mother just said that she was taken to the hospital and it was serious. I was worried and I left my set to come back home. During my return I started getting many calls from the media and others which scared me all the more. By the time I reached home, the next thing I knew was Sheezan being taken into police custody.

I could not understand what was happening. I still thought that we would get him back on the same night. When I saw him, he was in shock, trauma and his face was swollen. That is the time I saw him and after that only when the trials were held. We could not speak to him much but I just assured him that everything will fall into place.

We will not forget this incident for the rest of our lives and we have learnt the importance of what it means to sleep in peace.”
