According to the latest information coming to our news desk, Applause Entertainment and Baweja Studios have collaborated to launch a new web series which is speculatively titled Kaptan.
The series will be based on a cop drama on smuggling of things from Nepal in the 90's before they were available, how gangsters evolved and were taken down by the cops.
The series will have talented actors in the likes of Upen Chauhan, Surya Sharma, Amit K Singh and Jaswant Dalal in the primary cast.
Upen Chauhan is known for his stint in a variety of webseries in the likes of Bhaukaal, The Forgotten Army -Azadi Ke Liye, Main Hero Boll Raha Hu, Cartel, 377 AbNormal and television shows such as Yeh Hai Chahatein, Bepanaah, Humkadam.
Apart from his stint in acting he has been an assistant writer for Bhaukaal 2, Rudra- The edge of Darkness.
Surya Kumar is also a popular face whose recent stint was in Undekhi while Jaswant Dalal is widely known for his latest project Good Luck Jerry. Amit has also been seen in television shows such as Dil Sambhal ja Zara, Shapath, Police Factory, Yeh hai Aashiqui, Shaadi Ke Siyape and also done webseries titled Bahukaal.
