This calm yet strong role is now being assumed by Samarth Jurel. This will be a significant step for him because playing such a well-known and respected figure has its own set of difficulties. According to sources close to the production team, Samarth has been thoroughly preparing for the part by studying the lessons and is also working hard to get into the skin of the character.
In an exclusive interview with Samarth, he shared some interesting details on how he bagged the show!
Samarth shared, “Frankly speaking, I have not auditioned for the role. I have given many look tests. I was shooting for a film when I was approached for the role and I did not want to do mythological shows as I felt that there is too much work and effort. However, I was always inclined to take up a mythological show atleast once in my career. When I was told that the part would be of 18 to 20 days, I nodded to it.
