MUMBAI: ‘Divorce Ke Liya Kuch Bhi Karega’ is not just a catchy name for an OTT series. Rishabh Chadha and Abigail Pande are here to prove it with their amazing yet not-so-loving chemistry. We don’t get to see a lot of clean and family series these let alone be good, clean and family comedy but Ankush Bhatt the director and Ghalib Asad Bhopali the writer, have given us an amazing show to sit and watch with our family.
The comedy show is about the twists and turns that come into lives of Ashutosh (played by Rishabh Chadha) and Nikki (played by Abigail Pande), two reporters who are at loggerheads and trying to become the new prime-time news anchors but accidentally get married.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Abgail Jain gave us some interesting insights about this entertaining show and what she thought about the story of the show. She also opened about a scene that became memorable and it’s pretty interesting actually.
When talking about the story of the show, we asked about her initial reaction and the actress replied saying, “It was completely out of the box. Obviously when the narration happened I did not know the show’s name at that point of time but the story in itself was so catchy that when we heard the name I was like okay there couldn’t be a better name for the show because the story is so different w=from what we’ve been watching these days and obviously there are a lot of love stories and this is more divorce-related. So I think it was quite fun. The story is quite fun, shooting for it was quite fun so I just have good expectations from the show.”
When asked about a memorable moment from the show, Abigail said, “The bike riding scene was very memorable to me because I learnt to ride a bike for this show and I remember Rishabh was petrified sitting behind me. He was like ‘chala legi na? Chala legi na?’ he was very supportive and he told me also ‘arey kuch hoga tumhe toh main hu peeche’ but I understand yaar. If somebody has just learnt to ride a bike and if I had to sit behind him or her I would be petrified too. So I think that has definitely stayed with me and obviously I was scared because I had never thought ke okay I want to ride a bike in my life or something. So I think because of the show I got to do that also, i got to learn soyeah that’s the most memorable part for me.”
