MUMBAI: Elvish Yadav made headlines as he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where he won Rs. 25 Lakhs and took the trophy home.

He has created history as until today, no wild–card contestant has won any season of Bigg Boss. He broke the stereotype of a non–wild card winning the show.

But these days he has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The latest development is that he has been arrested in the Snake venom case and as per Times Now he has admitted supplying snakes and snake venom in these rave parties.

The actor has been taken into fourteen day judicial custody and the police are investigating the case.

We also saw how his parents came on the new channel and complained about how they are hurt as they know that their son has been framed and that he has no connection with the case.

They also said that they believe that he would come out soon and they believe in the judicial system.

The latest development is that the winner has been granted bail after spending five days in jail.

The news about him getting bail was confirmed by close friend Anurag Dhobal and Bigg Boss Season 17 contestant who tweeted saying "Uppar waala kabhi galat nahi karega, Bail Granted!”

On Thursday, the Noida Police removed the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985) Act imposed on Elvish Yadav. The cops said it was a mistake on their part. They said,“We had imposed the NDPS Act by mistake, it was a clerical mistake.” It's known that getting bail under the NDPS Act is very difficult.

Well, it's time for Elvish fans to celebrate as he is out of jail.
