MUMBAI: Actor Jaideep Singh is getting some amazing responses for his recently released web series Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness which has Ajay Devgn in the leading role. No doubt it was a treat to watch the actor in the show, and in an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar here is what the actor has to say about his acting journey and acting inspiration.

Talking about his acting journey, the actor said it has been a great journey and a learning experience for him, he is fortunate enough that he is getting some amazing responses from his fans for the work he has been doing. The actor also says that his mother is his biggest mentor in life. On asking about acting being the first choice as a profession the actor said he always loved the stage and wanted to be a performer.

Talking about his acting inspiration, the actor revealed it has to be Aamir Khan, ever since he has seen the movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The actor has loved his work and on the other hand, when he saw Ajay Devgn making his entry in Bollywood with the movie Phool Aur Kaante on 2 bikes, he once said that one day he will work with Ajay Devgn, and now finally his dream has come true as he shared screen space with the actor in the web series.

Jaideep Singh on types of characters he wants to play

About the types of characters, he looks forward to doing, actor Jaideep Singh says that he does not want to restrict his talent by doing similar types of characters. And pointing out specifically he said, he would love to do any comedy projects. The actor also looks forward to doing some historical projects.
