Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress where she gave some interesting insights when asked about the type of role that challenges her, regulations on OTT and a lot more.

What’s a type of role that would challenge your limits?

On this, Afreen Alvi said that a lot of people tell her she is suited for ‘Rich’ roles due to her face and her body language and usually she gets to play grey shade or negative shade but she would not mind playing a normal and simple role and would like to play role like Alia Bhatt in Highway or Udta Punjab as she feels that it’s challenging and more reality based so the audience connect to it more.

There are no regulations on OTT and so we get to see nudity and violence unfiltered. Are you comfortable doing a bold scene or are you being offered anything like that?

On this, Afreen Alvi said that there is a thin line between classy bold and complete bold so she is up for classy bold, given that it should be a good platform, good scene, nice story and script, as she looks at everything.

According to you, should there be regulations on OTT for showing nudity and violence?

On this, Afreen Alvi said that there should be a little bit of regulations. She then added that when the scenes match the requirement of the script, looks realistic then she doesn’t feel it’s bad. She also added that things are now being shown in a more realistic way and if it’s shot well and directed well, the audience watches it and doesn’t feel awkward as it happens in reality.
