MUMBAI : Barun Sobti started his career with television, and he has also starred in a few movies. Currently, the actor is ruling OTT and this year, we have already seen him in series like Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, Badtameez Dil, Asur 2, and Kohrra.

Who is your favourite South actor?

I don’t watch a lot of South Indian films, so I don’t know. I think Mohanlal, he is very popular, and of course Kamal Haasan. They are really good.

What do you like and dislike about being an actor?

I will answer this objectively. I love all the time when I get to act and I hate all the time when I don’t get to act because what happens with acting is that any project you get on to there’s writing, pre-planning, post and other things. It’s not that I don’t enjoy all that part like preparations, but it’s not acting on the set. You know that this is not going to be shown; only those six episodes will be shown.

Would you shave your head for a role?

Yes, I will shave my head. It’s not going that distance to be honest; it’s a very small thing for me to get into a character.
