MUMBAI: Alt Balaji's upcoming web show Cartel is the talk of the town ever since the trailer was out, the series is based on family Gangster drama, actress Girija Oak is all set to impress the fans once with this upcoming series.
Team Tere Chakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Girija Oak with regards to her web series Cartel and the character played by her. Where the actress revealed she will be seen playing the character named Rama. She is Rani Maai’s daughter in law, and Madhu’s (Jitendra Joshi’s) wife. Rama is that she has a very special connection with each member of the Angre family. And each member has a different relationship with her. Also what is fascinating is Rama has chosen someone like Madhu to be her life partner.
The actress also revealed that the shooting of the web series went up to 2 years, the shooting started in the year 2019 and ended in 2021, so it was very difficult to maintain character continuity, but it was a fun experience working with such amazing bunch of talented people.
Talking about the USP of the web series the actress revealed that the fans will see the roller coaster ride of different types of emotions in just a single project, the fans will see love story, Gangster drama, suspense, betrayal, revenge and many more in this web series.

Cartel is all set to premiere on 2oth August on ALTBalaji, and it has some amazing list of cast which includes, Supriya Pathak, Tanuj Virwani, Jitendra Joshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Pranati Rai Prakash, Divya Agarwal, Girija Oak Godbole, Amey Wagh, Monica Dogra, Vikram Kochhar, Vibhav Roy, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Mrinal Dutt, Krishna Kaul, Aditi Vasudev, Keval Dasani, Kannan Arunachalam, Sushrii Mishra and Anil George.
