MUMBAI: Actor Sahil Khattar has been grabbing the attention of the fans and winning their hearts with his beautiful craft. The actor with his character has created a strong mark in the hearts and minds of the fans. He is currently getting lots of love for his series Bajao on Jio Studios. 

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actor Sahil Khattar spoke on the love he is getting for the series Bajao and also on types of roles he is looking forward to do.

How has been the response of the series and your character 

Sahil Khattar says, “It’s amazing. I’m feeling on top of the world. Never thought I would get such a response for any kind of work. This is the best response I have got ever for anything I have done, so truly said Dhaari Pad Gaya Sab Pe Bhaari (says in Haryanvi accent). It went Twitter trending today on #1 from 3. It just felt like we conquered Mount Everest as a team as you know everybody who puts in the effort. The hashtag has trended with the character name. Everybody involved with Bajao is happy, Jio Cinema is happy. I’m glad that they made me a part of such a good show and the character did so well for everyone”.  

What actually made you say yes to the show 

Sahil Khattar adds, “Tejkarran called me, who is the head of Jio Studios and he said that there is a fantastic show that is very quirky very edgy right up your alley. It is a comedy aur usme tu hero hai, toh main kaise mana kar sakta tha. And I always wanted to get into a world that is quirky like Fukrey or Pyaar ka Punchnama and BAJAO is right up there”.

Types of roles you want to do but have not been offered yet 

Sahil Khattar shared, “Types of roles that I really want to do are around complete roles that showcase my performance, that showcase me as a talent, that projects me in a light that gives the most justice to the calibre that I have or I may put or may potentially have. I am really looking to lead a lot of projects, I am really looking to shoulder a lot of projects whether it’s OTT, whether it’s films, whether it’s OTT films, web series – Itna zyada stress nahi hai on the medium. The main core of the thought would always be the roles, the choice of them, the making of them, how you tailor them that is for sure”.
