MUMBAI: Vidya Malvade has been winning the hearts of fans over time with her acting contribution. We have seen some amazing characters of hers getting all the love from fans. The actress is now set to be seen in the upcoming ZEE5 web series Abhay 3.
In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, Vidya Malvade spoke in detail about the response she received for her breakthrough performance in Chak De India and on being critical of her work.

Vidya Malvade says that she had been associated with the industry for a long period of time, but Chak De India was the project that gave her major recognition. She gained many fans after it. A fan even told her that her daughter used to do a somersault after every goal she hit in the movie. The movie Chak De indeed gave a great boost to her career.
Vidya Malvade on choosing quality over quantity
Vidya Malvade says that she has been very grateful that she is getting such beautiful characters to play, especially on the digital platform. From the past 19 years, the actress has been a part of the industry, but she always believed in picking quality over quantity. She believes that if you love something, things will fall into place. Even though she has played a few small roles in her life, she had given everything to each character and project.

Vidya Malvade on being a critic of her work
Vidya says if you performing a scene, there is a person who is watching your work on a monitor. If that person gives a go, it's a go for her, because he or she is the captain of the ship and knows better as to what to derive from the actor. Well, she wishes to work so much that she does not get time to see her work.
The actress will feature in a never seen before character in the web series Abhay 3 on ZEE5, which will hit the digital screen on 8th April.
