Exclusive! I have encountered many fake auditions: Ravneet Singh on his journey

Illegal 2 actor Ravneet Singh spoke to TellyChakkar with regard to his acting journey and types of characters he looks forward to on digital platforms.

MUMBAI : Ravneet Singh is getting an amazing response from fans for his recently released web series Illegal 2. The actor always look forward to doing something different in his projects.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with him with regard to his acting journey and the types of characters he look forwards to on digital platforms.

Ravneet Singh on his acting journey

Ravneet says coming into the acting world was never a part of the plan. The actor has seen many challenges during his childhood. After he completed his studies, one of his friends asked him to ramp walk for a show. He gave it a try casually, and when he went for the ramp walk, he developed an interest towards modelling and acting. Since then, there was no looking back for the actor. He came to Mumbai in 2017 and started giving several auditions. He also says that he has encountered many fake auditions during this period. No doubt it is the hard work and dedication of the actor because of which he was seen in the projects like Perfect Pati, Laal Ishq, and now Illegal 2.

Ravneet Singh on the most challenging phase of his life

When the actor came to Mumbai, the initial days were quite challenging for him. He did not had a proper house to live and he had to go for several auditions on a daily basis. There was a point when there was no one along with him. He also went into depression for 6 months but it was his self-motivation and meditation that pulled him back from depression. He has given nearly 500 to 600 auditions, but he believed that if he continues his hard work, it will pay off.

With the rise in consumption of OTT content, some amazing projects are being made on digital platforms. The actor wants to play different types of characters on digital platforms. He would like some intense and serious characters like what Divyendu Sharma and Ali Fazal did in the web series Mirzapur.
