MUMBAI: Gehraiyaan has been the most talked-about film in recent time. The film has been getting positive responses from the film critics and moviegoers from the time the trailer of the film was out. Recently, Tellychakkar got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with the actress Deepika Padukone about the film, the response she got from her husband Ranveer Singh, and one wish which she believes to come true very soon.

During the interaction, Deepika Padukone was asked about the feedback she has been getting for the film. The actress said The feedback has been beyond overwhelming. I think to the point where I am only feeling gratitude. It has been only that we have received such a huge response, and overwhelming. I couldn’t remember the last time I received so much appreciation for a film. The last time I got such appreciation for Piku but between Gehraiyaan and Piku there have been many films, but this kind of appreciation was missing, so yes the feedback has been overwhelming till now.

She was further asked about what was Ranveer’s reaction to the film. Deepika said, my husband and in-laws, have already seen the film. Ranveer Singh even went live yesterday, to talk about the film and my performance. Some of the adjectives which he used for my performance, I can’t even digest. Because, I know as a performer his standard is extremely high, and I always know that he is fond of me as an actor. But I never think that he thought of me like this. An actor like him appreciating my performance truly means a lot to me.

Deepika was further questioned that what is that one wish which she wishes to fulfilled soon. The actress said I would say, leaving our personal and professional life aside. What the four of us have is extremely special and very rare. I just hope we never lose this connection or lose this beautiful bond we have because it is truly special.
