EXCLUSIVE: “I was a credit card salesman when I came to Mumbai for the first time” – Santosh Singh on his journey

Actor Santosh Singh who was recently seen in the web series Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar spoke to TellyChakkar exclusively with regards to his acting journey where he also spoke in detail about the types of characters he looks forward to do on digital platform

MUMBAI: Actor Santosh Singh is getting some amazing response for his recently released Amazon Prime web series titled Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar. The actor no doubt always looks forward to do something different with his craft.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Santosh Singh with regards to his acting journey where he also spoke in detail about the types of characters he looks forward to on digital platform.

Santosh Singh says that he belongs from Madhya Pradesh and says since childhood he wanted to become an actor. The actor always looks forward to be the part of the acting world and his friends also encouraged him for the same. The actor at the same time was pursuing the studies of Mechanical Engineer and one day he decided to be the part of the acting world and then he came to Mumbai to pursue his dream. When the actor came to Mumbai he was the credit card salesman. The actor used to go to door to door and different houses and corporate shops to sell credit cards this is how the actor came to know more in detail about the city Mumbai back then and after this the actor went on to give some auditions and later was seen in different projects like flip and Avrodh and now in series Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar.

Santosh Singh on the type of characters he looks so what to do on digital platform

With the rise in consumption of content we can see some amazing collaboration between actors and directors on digital platform and having said that, the actor looks forward to do some different and challenging types of characters. The actor says that he is looking forward to do some raw and rough characters and giving some example he said he would love to be the part of projects like Mirzapur.

Santosh Singh on the most challenging phase of his life

The actor says that ups and downs are the part and parcel of actor’s life and this is not only in actor’s life but in any profession. The actor says that the lockdown period was quite a challenging period for him in terms of his work and also financial things.
