Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Sangeetha Balachandran with regards to her acting journey where she also spoke in detail about dealing with challenges in her life initially and the types of character she looks forward to playing on OTT.
SANGEETHA BALACHANDRAN ON HER ACTING JOURNEY
Sangeetha Balachandran revealed that she has been a part of this acting industry for over 30 years now, she has been fortunate enough to be a part of some exciting projects. She is overwhelmed with the kind of response she has been getting. Throwing some light on the love and passion of acting the actress revealed since her college days she was into acting and she took part in different acting competitions. She has always taken acting as her hobby and later she thought to take acting as her career and joined theatres to polish her acting skills. Her very first acting play was titled Agale Hafte in 1984. The actress went on to do some amazing projects on television in between she was into event management and later she came back into the acting world with the web series The Married Woman.

SANGEETHA BALACHANDRAN ON HER CHALLENGING PHASE IN LIFE
Sangeetha Balachandran reveals that initially when she started in the industry she had very few medium and opportunities. Because during that time there were only movies and on television, there was only DD National, but the options she was getting were not at all exciting and she was looking for some different opportunities. During that time the actress went into direction and production. This was the love of the actress towards filmmaking that she had tried something different other than acting but it was quite a challenging phase for her.
SANGEETHA BALACHANDRAN ON TYPES OF CHARACTERS TO LOOK FORWARD TO ON DIGITAL PLATFORM
With the rise in consumption of content, we can see some amazing talents coming together to create something amazing on digital platforms. Having said that, the actress said that she looks forward to doing different types of characters on digital platforms, and especially she is looking forward to playing a businesswoman or a detective in an investigative thriller. She would also love to play a typical negative character on a digital platform.
