MUMBAI: Actress Shreya Khanna who was seen in the television serial Hamari Wali Good News is now all set for her digital debut with the upcoming web series titled Kharoch. The actress in an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar spoke in detail about her acting journey where she also revealed the types of characters she looks forward to doing on digital platforms.

Shreya reveals that becoming an actress was never the plan initially, she was into dancing and she always thought that she would end up becoming a professional dancer. The actress also had taken part in a few television dance reality shows like Chak Dhoom Dhoom Dance India Dance. But gradually her love for acting developed and she thought to become an actress in life. She later came to Mumbai and started giving auditions. After a lot of hardships and rejections, the actress made it to the acting world and appeared in the television serial Hamari Wali Good News and is now all set to make her digital debut with the upcoming web series Kharoch.
Shreya Khanna on types of characters she looks forward to doing on digital platform
The actress revealed that she is very lively and jolly in real life. It is very easy and simple to play what you are in real life so that is why she is looking forward to playing something opposite. She would definitely want to play some emotional characters. The actress also looks forward to being part of an action-oriented project. She also expressed her wish to work with actors like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

Shreya Khanna on the most challenging phase of her life
Shreya reveals that she hails from a family background that follows strict rules and regulations. Her father was completely against her wish to become an actor, and it was the love and support of her mother because of which she could make it to the acting world. She has also seen many rejections during her auditioning period. She also said that sometimes the reasons for the rejections were very weird. But she has always looked at the brighter side of life and focused on her dream to become an actor.
