MUMBAI: Jad Hadid rose to fame with his stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, where his game was liked by the audience. Hence, he survived the game for seven weeks.
He grabbed headlines for his kiss with Akanksha Puri and his closeness with Jiya Shankar. But the UAE model did not get along with everyone in the house, including Bebika, with whom he had a tiff at the beginning of the show.
He was also pulled out by Salman Khan during the “Weekend Ka Vaar” for his behavior with Bebika. He then apologized and was back in the game.
Finally, he was evicted owing to fewer votes, just a week before the finale. Hence, he couldn’t be a finalist of the show.
Post his eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with Jad and asked him if the votes that happened in the last minute were fake or real and is he planning to settle down in Mumbai.
What do you have to say about the mistake that you did in the Bigg Boss house as with the fight with Bebika?
I did what I had to do and after you make a mistake and you realise it, you apologise for it. That shows how sincere you are. You shouldn't care about the response. I didn't get a positive response and it was fine.
Do you think that the last minute voting that happened for Elvish was not true and it was all a false narrative, what do you have to say about it?
Nothing was fake, everything was real. The votes happened in the last 15 minutes of the finale and 280 million votes were received, why did all these people vote? They saw something in Elvish and thought that he was deserving, so well done Elvish.
Are you planning to settle down in India?
Yes, I am going to get my daughter down here and plan to buy an apartment here and settle down.
Well, there is no doubt that Jad did play the game well and he was just eliminated a week before the finale.
