MUMBAI: Jim Sarbh in this exclusive interview with TellyChakkar talks about his upcoming web series Rocket Boys. The actor speaks about his character Homi Bhabha and the challenges he faced while playing the role. He reveals his favourite directors.
Jim Sarbh on his character
It is a completely fictional character, and I don’t want to give out many things. I am playing the character of Homi Bhabha. He has such an incredible legacy, including his contribution to science and his interest in arts, politics, and human behavior. He has a good life. His breadth of knowledge covers many subjects. The more I read about his life, the more I get excited to play him because there is so much to learn from him. Apart from his contribution to science, he was also a complete gentleman.

There was a really big challenge of course because the director Abhay Pannu managed to awaken everybody’s passion for the project. His passion for the project is enormous. We all tried to bring his vision to creation. So it wasn’t the hard work I didn’t want to do. But it was the hard work that I wanted to do and very happily did over the course of the year. It was incredibly hard work because; he had the knowledge about everything. I had to learn complicated Hindi. So it was a very hard year, but it was like pleasurable torture.

I would like to work with Abhishek Chaubey and Aakash Bhatia. I would also like to work with Hollywood directors David Fincher and Wes Anderson.
