Tellychakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what was the reason why he signed the project and what are the challenges he faced while doing the role.

What is the one thing that drove you to sign the project?

It was the story that drove me to it. The fact that the director was making the movie in 30 – 40 mins, and the story has all the elements to make it a commercial film, and the beauty, is that the movie can tell the entire story in that constraint time and it was attractive for me. And personally, I have never played a rural character and hence the reasons were perfect for me to do the movie.

What are the challenges you’ll face while doing the role?

For me, the difficult part was the shooting of the scenes, because we were shooting in the month of January in UP at her village and it was very cold and we had to do running sequences, wearing shorts and it was really cold and I don’t like to be in cold climatic conditions. So I had a tough time shooting for the movie.

What is the one memory you had while shooting this project? Any specific one you have taken back home?

For me, it would be the village we shot in which is Isapur. Especially the people of the village, who were very generous with everything. They let us into the rooms and that was our vanity van. Even when it came to the food they were so generous and allowed us to use their washrooms which was a big thing. So just the people, how supportive and warm they were!

Well, the fans are excited to see Dhavak, which has been streaming on Amazon mini Tv since 30th August 2022.
