MUMBAI: Actor Deepak Dutta who has been winning the hearts of the fans over the time with his amazing acting contribution. We have seen some amazing characters played by the actor Deepak Dutta in different projects like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), C.I.D. (1998) and Bhagat Singh (2002). 

Team Telly Chakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Deepak Dutta with regards to his acting journey where he spoke in detail about the types of characters he looks forward to play on digital platforms. 

Deepak Dutta on his acting journey 

Deepak reveals that he belongs from Delhi, and since childhood he was into acting and drama, the actor always wanted to do something creative in his life. After completing his studies the actor joined theatres and it was the year 1992 when he came to Mumbai. Chasing his dream the actor had given several auditions and after his debut project there was no looking back for him. Deepak Dutta also says that he can define his journey as an actor as a brilliant one, he has seen many ups and downs in his life but he is fortunate enough to be the part of some amazing projects in his life. 

Deepak Dutta on the rough patch of his life 

It was the year 2002 when his movie Bhagat Singh was released, the actor was doing television serials back then, after doing this movie the actor thought to go ahead with few Bollywood movies and he had to cancel few television shows. But during that time more than 2-3 movies were out which were based on the Freedom struggle of Bhagat Singh, because of which this movie did not get proper attention and it later premiered on television. The actor says that this phase of his life was full of challenges as he wanted to do more projects in the Bollywood industry back then.

Deepak Dutta on dealing with rejections and downfall in his career 

Deepak reveals that as an actor he has seen many rejections and ups and downs in his life, in such a situation and family has been the major support for him. It is the love and support of his family that he completely forget everything and just move ahead with his life and his family indeed gives him that strength and power 

Deepak Dutta on types of characters he looks forward to do on digital platform 

Deepak Dutta reveals that we can see some amazing content coming on digital platforms. OTT is surely a boon not only for actors but also for the film makers and having said that he looks forward to playing some different and challenging characters on digital platforms. The actor says that he is looking forward to playing Comedy or negative characters on screen.
