MUMBAI : Indeed one of the most loved and followed stars of Indian cinema is Raveena Tandon. It is always a treat to watch the actress on screen and now, she is all set to be seen in the upcoming OTT series titled Karmma Calling, which will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Earlier, we got to watch the teaser of the series and the audience felt intrigued by it as everyone started wondering how the series will turn out to be.
Later, the creators of the series released the trailer wherein we can feel the intensity rising. The trailer shows how the series is based on revenge and Karma, as in the consequences of actions.
Namrata Sheth plays the role of Karma in Karmma Calling and we got into an exclusive conversation with the actress where we talked about her experience with Raveena Tandon, process of getting into the character and much more.
Experience working Raveena Tandon
On this, Namrata Sheth said that in the series they are like enemies but the reality is completely different as Raveena Tandon took her and Varun under her wing knowing that they are new, get nervous in her presence and instantly made them feel comfortable. Namrata Sheth added that sometimes when she was in a scene with her, she would forget that she had to perform as she would get lost watching Raveena Tandon perform.
Discovering something new about Raveena Tandon while working with her
On this, Namrata Sheth said that just the fact that even today Raveena Tandon has the hunger to reinvent herself, readapt to what’s happening, being so in tune with the audiences, is why she is constantly doing the roles that she is doing because she is an incredibly intelligent artist who puts a lot of effort and the way she is working is commendable.
Process of getting into the character of Karma
On this, Namrata Sheth said that it was an intense process as she had to do a lot of workshops. Namrata Sheth added that she didn’t just have to understand the character but even had to feel like the character physically and emotionally and since she has not been through things that the character has been through, she had to find those emotions in herself which took a lot of prep, reading and discussions. Namrata Sheth also added that after the process she felt so connected to the character that the director would just tell her to trust herself because she had reached a point where she had become the character.
