MUMBAI: Mirzapur fame actor Priyanshu Painyuli in this exclusive interview with Tellychakkar.com, talks about his upcoming web series Unpaused 2:  Naya Safar. The actor speaks about his experience of shooting for the show, sharing screen space with Shreya, and how Covid-19 has affected all of us.

Tell us about the experience of shooting for the show.

Actually, it was a fun shoot during the pandemic time. The unit was very small with all the fun-loving people. The shoot took place in a house with limited crew members which were actually safe for all of us. Before that, I used to travel to different states for different shoots so I was a little scared during the traveling time especially because the virus is still out there. After vaccination, this was my first shoot.

Tell us about the character you play in the web series.

I found the story very relatable. There are lots of ups and downs in the life of the character I play in Unpaused 2 during the Covid time. Where you are not sure how to handle the situation and then you see your partner is going through the same situation. The whole idea is about how the couple deals with the situation in pandemic time.

What was the one thing that made you say yes to the project?

Shreya and I were waiting to work with each other for a long time. When the opportunity came to us we said yes to the project. The story is relatable and director Nupur Asthana is very good at showing human emotions like getting all the juice of life.

How Covid has affected you in your personal life?

We never knew the uncertainty of the pandemic. I was shooting in March, and suddenly the next day the shoots were canceled due to the pandemic. Finding that somebody is Covid positive and getting tested again and again. We were scared to go out but we have to start working. That way it was affecting all of us. We were grateful that we were safe in spite of the Covid still going on.
