In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Ashrut Jain said some interesting things when asked about preference of character, parameter before choosing a character and much more.
What do you prefer, length or depth of the character?
On this, Ashrut Jain said that while length and depth are both important factors to consider, the most important thing is to work with a good director. Ashrut added that if Rohit Shetty demands he can even become a tree. He then elaborated his answer and said that as a kid we watch movies of great directors and when we enter the movie industry, we dream to work with those directors no matter what the character because what matters is that we got there, give our best performance and appreciate it and come back home. He also added that for him art comes first and money comes next.
Parameters before choosing a character
On this, Ashrut Jain said that the connection of the character to the central story is what takes priority as the lead of the movie obviously becomes a vital part of the movie but if you are not playing the lead, what is your connection to the story, it’s very important.
Upcoming projects
On this, Ashrut Jain said that recently he got in talks in London with some talent agencies and has auditioned for some English projects so we might get to see the actor in some foreign movies soon.
