Sudipto Sen on word of mouth affecting the film’s performance
Sudipto Sen says, "The film will touch the hearts of a large number of audiences through "Word of Mouth". We were very well aware about it. And, we planned accordingly. Actually we were extremely confident about the responses of the film. And, we were vindicated. We told the truth. We did not shy away from choosing the most difficult path to tell our story - we chose to tell unhindered, unadulterated truth. And, truth always wins. We are not cynical - so, we believe in our old saying."
Sudipto Sen on the box office performance of the film
Sudipto Sen says, "Believe me - we expected the same, exact situation. Actually our expectation was more. Unethical ban in Bengal and Tamil Nadu was a bit set back. Otherwise, the Box Office did not surprise us. Now the OTT release will see another "Unprecedented" record."
Sudipto Sen on people banning the movie in few states
Sudipto Sen says, "The Kerala Story is not against any religion - it is against terrorism. And, all understood that, only after watching the film. So, now, you will find very few detractors of the film. Only people, who did not see the film, are against us."
