We have now an exclusive update that actress Akanshi Bhalla has been roped in for the series.

She will be playing the lead actress' mother in Bihar Diaries. 

Akanshi is known for her roles in shows like Tujhse Hai Raabta, Humariwali Good News, Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare, Pavitra Bhagya, among others. 

Bihar Diaries will be helmed by Neeraj Pandey. 

The series will narrate the thrilling account of how Amit Lodha arrested Samant Pratap, one of Bihar's most feared ganglords, notorious for extortion, kidnapping, and the massacre of people. 

It will be interesting to see how the makers present this real-life story on-screen.
