The actress speaks about how excited she is for the show, how different her character will be from the first part, and how difficult was for her to get back into the skin of her character.

How excited are you for Undekhi 2?

I am super excited and the show is very special for me. Part one was my first show on the OTT platform, so I am very excited for this one too. We all are relatively new cast for the show. We all were sold on the script and the story. I loved the story and my character especially. When the first season came out and was hugely received by the audiences. We all were so happy because nobody expected to get this kind of response from the audience.

How different your character will be from the first season?

I will say to the audience that please do not have any idea about the show because there are so many twists and turns in the story that will keep you at the edge of your seat. When I was reading the script and was so hooked to it that I couldn’t keep it down. Hopefully, the audience will love the show too. Talking about my character, At the end of season one, my character was shot and left with wounds. The journey from there is insane. It will be a very crazy arch from where the season has ended.

How difficult was it for you to get back into the skin of your character?

My character is so different from what I am in real life. There is so much that happened to my character in the first season. So for me getting back to my character’s skin was difficult. It took a bit for me, but we did a lot of workshops. Ashish sir really helped me during the workshops. The journey of reaching my character was really fun. I did watch some of the scenes of season one, where I get back into my character’s body language, the accent, and the action training. I really missed being Khoyal, so I couldn’t hold to getting back to my character.
