Shefali Shah says that her character is someone who is very real. Ruksana (her character) is someone who falters. It is not a complicated character, but it is complex. And there is one strong similarity between her character Ruksana and her in real life: they both are fiercely protective mothers.

Shefali Shah says that she is very greedy as an actor. At the same time, she is very choosy with her projects. There is nothing specific she is looking forward to, but she had made choices based on her instinct. She has been fortunate enough to work in projects like Monsoon Wedding, Satya, Gandhi My father, and Delhi Crime.
