Now, a new series has been launched on the platform, that is – Hack Crimes Online. The series is a crime thriller which is based on a novel by one of India's most respected cyber-crime investigators, Mr. Amit Dubey. The series features Vipul Gupta and Riddhi Kumar as leads and is directed by Parmeet Sethi.
Tellychakkar got in touch with the director of the series, Parmeet Sethi who opened up about his acting interests and I he has set a parameter in order to choose a character. Let’s check out what Parmeet Sethi had to say.
We have seen less of acting performances from your side since a few years. Are there any parameters you have set in order to choose a character? Having said that, what kind of role would you like to play that you haven't been offered yet?
It’s not that I have left acting completely but I just keep dabbling in it whenever I can. I have been active, not to my full potential, because I have been behind the camera and writing also. There’s nothing in particular but definitely the meatier the role, whether it’s a negative role or it’s a positive role, but something to explore in that role. That makes a big difference. What also makes a difference is my state of mind at that time, whether I’m in a writer-mode or director-mode or the actor-mode. If I’m in the actor-mode that whatever comes to me, I’m fully there and enjoying it. So it is a matter of timing also.
