MUMBAI: Actress Kritika Kamra is no doubt one of the most loved and followed actresses we have in acting space. She is currently getting some amazing response from the fans for her Amazon Prime series titled Bambai Meri Jaan.

During an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actress Kritika Kamra spoke in detail about the love she is getting for her OTT show Bambai Meri Jaan and also what made her say yes to the series.

Kritika Kamra on the response of the show

Kritika Kamra says that she never expected that the show would be such a big hit. She is getting some amazing response from the fans and audience, not only for her character, but also for the entire show. The fans are saying that they are watching her in this avatar for the very first time and loving her character Habiba. When the teaser and the trailer was out, the actress shares that she was really very excited to share the show with the fans and audience.

Kritika Kamra on what made her say yes for the series

Kritika Kamra says that when she got the script for the very first time, she just read the entire 10 episodes at one go. She adds that this was the fattest script book she has ever received in her career, which had so many characters, with so many small stories inside. She just loved the world which was created in the show and the character Habiba. The actress said that she had never done something like this, so it was a great new experience for her. The actress also says that we have seen many Gangster based drama movies and OTT shows, but this one is completely different from others.

Kritika Kamra on preparation for her character

Kritika Kamra says that she had to work on the dialect of the character because she is not from Mumbai and had to speak in a particular language from 70s and 80s Mumbai. That is a certain way her character walks and talks. So, she had to go through that kind of training, many preparations and workshops which she attended to prepare for the character.
