MUMBAI : And lastly, 'Panchayat 3' has an update! The third season of the Prime Video series, in which Neena Gupta plays a pivotal role, is now complete. She shared the historic event with the cast and staff of the show. 'Panchayat' star Neena Gupta, who portrays Manju Devi, has completed filming the third season. Along with the cast and crew, she shared a video of the festivities on Instagram, which featured a cake-cutting ceremony. The video also featured Raghubir Yadav (Brij Bhusan Dubey), Chandan Roy (Vikas), Sanvikaa (Rinki), and Faisal Malik (Prahlad Pandey).

Neena Gupta shared the same and wrote, “Wrap up of the 3rd season of Panchayat! (sic).” 'Panchayat's' upcoming season has fans excited, they said.

The 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa saw a first for Prime Video as 'Panchayat Season 2' took home the inaugural Best Web Series (OTT) Award. This incredible victory made clear how important it is to acknowledge and support India's booming streaming industry. The award sought to recognize excellence in the over-the-top (OTT) arena, and 32 submissions from 15 different platforms in 10 different languages were considered.

Selected by a distinguished panel that included respected actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Divya Dutta, as well as filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Utpal Borpujari, and Krishna DK, this award highlighted the excellence and diversity that India's emerging digital entertainment industry has to offer.

The news was announced on the official PIB X (formerly Twitter) page, with the headline "Panchayat Season 2' bagged the Best Web Series award at IFFI, Gos (sic)."
