MUMBAI: Led by a power-packed performance by the two leads and a heartfelt and mature story on romance, it didn’t take much time for ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s latest offering Baarish season 2 to match up to the success of its first season. With 11 episodes released earlier, fans were waiting eagerly to see what happens in the life of Anuj (Sharman Joshi) and Gauravi (Asha Negi). One can surely expect the second season to take the excitement quotient up another notch with all the episodes streaming now on both ALTBalaji and ZEE5 apps.

With the rain playing a pivotal role in this romance-drama, Baarish showcases the hardships of maintaining relationships and how the imperfect love story of Anuj (Sharman) and Gauravi (Asha) is defined by their responsibilities towards their respective families.

The narrative between a Gujarati diamond merchant and a simple Marathi Mulgi entails the challenging journey of love and respect. Things are far from smooth sailing between the two as their relationship has hit a roadblock is heading for divorce. Gauravi misses the old Anuj and the simplicity that made her fall in love with him. On the other hand, Anuj wants to earn more money as he has gone through bad times, and in the process leaves his closed ones behind.

Will Anuj and Gauravi reconcile once again or will their differences lead to separation? The audience will get answers to all their questions in these final episodes. It will be interesting to know what will happen now in this tale of love and how the second season of Baarish will culminate.
