MUMBAI: After a long wait, the movie Haathi Mere Saathi is finally out for the audience. Ever since the trailer of the movie was out the fans were eagerly waiting to see their favourite actors in a never seen before avatar. The movie has some amazing cast like Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar and it is currently streaming on Eros Now.
Talking about the story of the movie Bandev played by Rana Daggubati who is a Jungle Man and just loves his animals to the core and specially elephants. He is living for the Jungle and for the animals in it. But something happens in the Jungle which completely shocks him and changes his life and now he has to fight for the rights of the animal and save the environment as soon as possible.
The screenplay of the movie is beautifully written and it will surely hold your attention right from the first scene. Also the direction given by Prabhu Solomon is amazing and special mention to the camera work and the location covered in the jungle.
Talking about the performances, no doubt it is one of the best works coming from the actor Rana Daggubati. You will surely see him in a never seen before avatar as the Jungle Man, and he will surely impress you with his amazing body language and acting. On the other hand Pulkit Samrat also adds value to the movie with his amazing character and brilliant acting. Shreya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain on their part will surely impress you. And other cast like Vishnu Vishal, Anant Mahadevan, Vishwajeet Pradhan were decent to watch.
Talking about the positive points of the movie it has to be the screenplay and the camera work which can be the USP of the movie. The screenplay is also very well written and it will keep you hooked and booked till the last scene. The locations covered in the movie inside the Jungle are very beautiful and they are a treat to watch. The performances delivered by every actor in the movie is brilliant. The chemistry between the elephant and the characters is beautifully written and it will surely bring tears to your eyes. The strong message which is delivered towards the end of the movie is the need of the time.
The negative point of the movie has to be the length of the film. The movie is 161 minutes long, the movie looks stretched in between and your attention may go down in between. Also there are very few scenes which look fake and unbelievable.
Well having said all these points, the movie Haathi Mere Saathi is completely worth your time, it is a movie which has some amazing storytelling with some great performances and message towards the end.
