MUMBAI: Sacred Games is the first Netflix original series in India and is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. It is based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel. The series tells the story of police officer Sartaj Singh, portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, who receives phone calls from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde, portrayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Gaitonde tells Sartaj to save the city in 25 days.

But, it is much more than that. It is a show that has great writing and storytelling.
