Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar fan fiction: If Alamzeb and Tajdar had married, in between ishq and inqalab

MUMBAI: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT debut web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has a stellar cast of Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal. It also had Fardeen Khan, Adhyan Suman, Shekhar Suman, and Taha Shah Badussha as the majestic Nawabs of Lahore.

However, Tajdar (Taha) and Alamzeb (Sharmin's) chemistry was beyond words. Mallikajaan (Manisha Koirala's) youngest daughter Alamzeb loves poetry and does not want to be a courtesan. She meets Taha who has returned from London, and looks down on courtesans. He comes from Baloch family whose supports British, and writes letters to Alamzeb and that is how they fall in love.

When Tajdar comes to know Alamzeb is the daughter of a courtesan, he cannot accept. He lets her stay in the house as he loves her and she has no where to go and also takes part in a rebellious mission. Fareedan (Sonakshi Sinha) tips Cartwright (British official) with the blueprint of the British home found at Tajdar's home. Alamzeb covers the incident, hence goes to jail. Tajdar does not recognise her in the jail. When he comes to know Alamzeb is pregnant with his child, he wants to marry her. Alamzeb and Tajdar deserved so much better. Their chemistry was raw and they did not deserve separation by fate.

His father is against the same, gives a tip and gets Tajdar arrested. He is tortured and hence dies, refusing to give details about his rebels. If they had got married then it would be a happily forever and Alam would never be in grief. "Hatheli pe likhne se naam taqdeer bann jati hai", would be reality.
