While the first look that was revealed left the nation astounded with the grandness the filmmaker is about to bring to the OTT arena, the first song 'Sakal Ban' further gave a more comprehensive glimpse of the world of Heeramandi. Immensely enriched with beautiful aesthetics, a celebrated star cast, and a classical symphony, the director is all set to treat the audience with a show for the first time from India on the global level. Amid the rising fervor, the makers are all set to make a grand announcement of its release date.

At the announcement event, the cast of the series got in touch with the media where they gave some amazing insights. Sonakshi Sinha and Sharmin Sehgal gave amazing responses when asked about what their takeaways are from the series and the experience of shooting for the same.
Sharmin Sehgal revealed how Sonakshi Sinha guided her by saying that she has to drop a tear once from her left eye, then from her right eye and then again from her left eye, which were nuances to another level and as an actor when you have to execute those nuances repeatedly, it refines your ability to be in tune to yourself. Sharmin also revealed how Sanjeeda Sheikh told her to be spontaneous but be in tune with yourself.
Sonakshi Sinha revealed about her takeaway by saying that no matter how good you think you are, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will always get something better out of you.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar also features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The show is all set to release this year on Netflix worldwide.
