MUMBAI: Recently, Zee5 released the trailer of its upcoming movie ‘House of Lies’ which is directed by Saumitra Singh and produced by Kali Movies Private Limited and Sebhariya Pictures. It is a gripping thriller tale which will be available to stream on Zee5 from 31st May and stars Sanjay Kapoor, Ssmilley Suri, Simran Kaur Suri, Hiten Paintal, Taniya Chatterjee and the late actor Rituraj K Singh.

It is a mystery murder of Albert Pinto but it is not as simple as it sounds as there is a lot that makes this story as complex as complex as it can get. As the investigation takes place, the guests gets interrogated and everyone’s statements conflict, which only makes the case more complicated but there’s more.

Now, talking about one of the cast members, there is Taniya Chatterjee who will be seen playing the role of Aastha.

During an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, the House of Lies actor Taniya Chatterjee revealed a lot of insights about the movie when asked about her initial reaction and what the show is all about.

When talking her initial reaction to the character and the show, Taniya Chatter said, “Mujhe audition ke liye 2 character ke liye bola tha, ek toh ek police officer ka character hai…aur dusra the ye Aastha ke liye. Aastha ke bohot saare shades hai. Sab log soch rahe hai ye negative hai. Shuru mein negative vibes hai but dheere dheere pata chalega ki itni buri hai nahi jitni buri who lag rahi hai. Mujhe jab story sunayagi gayi, mujhe apna character acha laga….mujhe laga yaar this is something catchy, ye hua hi nahi hai iske pehle. Also, I’m a huge fan of Sanjay Kapoor sir. Jab mujhe bola gaya tha shuru mein main protagonist kaun hai, toh unhone kahaan tha Sanjay Kapoor sir. My papa has been a great fan of him, I have been a great fan of him… So I said yes.”

When asked what the show is all about, Taniya Chatterjee said, “You can get the meaning from the name of movie, House of Lies. Sab kea lag alag motive hai ghar me rehne ke liye, Albert ke murder ke peeche. Albert is the head of the family and he is a rich shot. Toh kaise kaise kya kya cheeze hoti hai, kya kya kiske kiske saath connection hai, this is all the story is about. House of Lies murder mystery hai.”
