MUMBAI: Neha Sharma began her acting career in the Hindi film industry with Crook opposite Emraan Hashmi. Well, then it was in 2020 that she did her debut web show titled Illegal opposite Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Misra, Piyush Mishra. The actress has come a long way along from Crook to her hit music video Dil Ko Karar Aaya opposite late actor Sidharth Shukla.
During an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, the stunning diva was asked if her Dil Ko Karar Aaya moment was done from Crook to Illegal. She quipped, "I do not know how to describe it. I feel very grateful as I know logg kitni mehnat karte hai. It is very tough to get that first break itself. I will take it back to Chirutha and not Crook as that was my first break. I am very grateful to the team who cast me as I did not know anything about this".
She further revealed, "Beginners luck I call it because there was nowhere I could have got that over a million people who auditioned for that part. I am forever grateful. I think it was all destiny or however you define it.. some magic that it got me there. There is always a greater plan that god has. I got there and uske baad mujhe laga ki now that I am here whether I deserve it or not.. I am going to do the best I can. Koshish yahi rahi hai ki I do better everyday and when I look back I feel that there are times I could have taken the elevator and not the staircase but I am very proud, I sleep peacefully at night as I feel the way I have got where I have got I am very proud of it. The journey is also beautiful".
