MUMBAI:In the past, we have seen many movies based on cricket, but maybe for the first time we will witness a movie based on the sport that revolves around gully cricket that mostly we all have grown playing. We are talking about the upcoming film Kacchey Limbu which stars Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha and Ayush Mehra in the lead roles.

Radhika took to Instagram to share the trailer with her fans. She posted, “Reminisced my whole childhood in this film. This one is for you bhai Kacchey Limbu on 19th May, exclusively on #JioCinema! Directed by not so kaccha khilaadi @yogiisjustfine.”

The trailer of the film is quite interesting and keeps us hooked for those 1 minute 22 second. The trailer showcases that the film revolves around a brother and sister, and how they get pitted against each other in a cricket match that happens in their society.

Radhika Madan is damn good in the trailer, and we can once again expect a fantastic performance from her. The national crush Ayush Mehra also grabs the attention and Rajat Barmecha leaves a mark.

Movies on cricket have grabbed the attention of the audiences, and this looks more relatable because gully cricket or society cricket is something that we all have grown up watching and playing.

Kacchey Limbu will get an OTT release. It will premiere on Jio Cinema on 19th May 2023, and it will be streamed for free.
