While season 1 of the series was left on a cliff-hanger, now, the series is coming back with the second season, The Freelancer – The Conclusion. The series is going to show how Avinash will finally go for an extraction mission and save Aleeya from danger.
Now, in an exclusive conversation with the media, Mohit Raina was asked if the character of Avinash Kamath affected him. Even Kashmira Pardeshi was asked about the challenges she faced in playing the character of Aleeya.
When Mohit Raina was asked - During or after playing the role of Avinash Kamath, were you somehow affected by it?
To This, Mohit Raina said that he was not affected by the character but had a lot to learn from it because as an actor when you are given a character your job is to follow the director’s vision. So he was following Neeraj and Bhav’s vision by exploring on a daily basis the character sketch they had in their minds and with every episode, there is a different approach. Mohit Raina added that he does not carry baggage while playing the character and that the journey of working in the series was one of the most memorable journeys, reason being that he has never played an underdog who comes out of nowhere and becomes something else, has a second life. So it was an interesting arc for him to play Avinash Kamath.
When asked to Kashmira Pardeshi – How did you find the character, how did you prepare for it and what were the challenges you faced while playing the role?
To this, Kashmira Pardeshi said that she got most of the reviews for the bathroom scenes and everyone would ask her why she was talking for more than 3 mins in those scenes. People also told her that they knew her, they loved her and it was so gripping that they all used to look at their watches to check if it was 3 mins. Talking about the time when they were shooting for it, when they shot all the bathroom scenes, she said that those scenes were very challenging as they were extreme for what Aleeya goes through the information that she collects and about the betrayal that she faces. So those scenes were challenging.
