MUMBAI: ALTBalaji and ZEE5's latest offering Baarish 2 has already won the hearts of the audiences with its fresh storyline and an amazing star cast. Amidst all, one of the actors who has been the audience's favorite is Manit Joura who plays the character of a lawyer named Manit in the show. With lots of twists and turns in the new season, Manit is shown to be the hindrance in the love story of Gauravi (Asha Negi) and Anuj (Sharman Joshi).

In a casual conversation, Manit Joura revealed his experience working with the legendary actor Jeetendra Kapoor, who also made his digital debut with the show. The actor further shared that Jeetuji was an inspiration for everyone on the sets with his dedication to delivering every shot with utmost perfection.

Speaking about sharing screen space with the legendary actor, Manit said, “Jeetuji was like a child on the sets. He has such tremendous energy even at his age. An incident which I will never forget is on the last day of the shoot with him. His scene was done and the other scenes were being shot. He could have left if he wanted to, but he stayed till the director announced the lunch break.”

He was also the best storyteller on the sets and was so much fun to be with. Since he is so down-to-earth and a complete people’s person, a lot of actors looked forward to sitting next to him in his free time and listening to his stories. These stories led to another funny incident when one day someone told him that I can sing. He caught me on the set and asked me to sing something for everyone. Initially taken aback, I immediately started singing and asked him to join for which he said, ‘If I sing, everyone will run away."

With the rain playing a pivotal role in this romance-drama, Baarish showcases the hardships of maintaining relationships and how the imperfect love story of Anuj and Gauravi is defined by their responsibilities towards their respective families.
