MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Neena Gupta along with her daughter and designer Masaba Gupta are gearing up for the release of Netflix original Masaba Masaba. A couple of days back, the makers dropped the epic trailer of the film introducing Masaba Gupta to the showbiz. The series documents Masaba's life, fashion, romance, heartbreak and struggles who then becomes one of the top designers in the fashion industry. In the trailer, we also saw a glimpse of Kiara Advani and a few blink-and-miss appearances of filmmaker Farah Khan, Karwaan actress Mithila Palkar, Gajraj Rao and Pooja Bedi.
The lead spoke to the media and spilled the beans on some unknown facts of the film. Right from speaking about Neena Gupta-Masaba Gupta’s off-screen chemistry to their on-screen characters, they bore it all. While speaking to us, Masaba also opened up about her and her mother's real-life situation. When asked about Neena Gupta’s latest Instagram pictures, Masaba said, she’s living her life in reverse.

She said, “She loves wearing shorts. Someone told her at this age you can’t wear shorts, so she started wearing shorts. One day she told me I want to wear a frock, so we made her some frocks. So, the fun bit about mom is she’s living her life in reverse. You think she’s 60, but she’s actually living the life of a debutante at the age of 30.” Watch the full interview below:
