MUMBAI: In the most recent season of the beloved web series Mirzapur, Rasika Dugal returned to the character of Beena Tripathi. Dugal co-starred with Ali Fazal, Vijay Varma, and Pankaj Tripathi, reviving her role in the series with a performance that never fails to enthrall viewers.

“When you have done three seasons of a show and you have a loyal and committed audience, the show becomes equally owned by the fans,” Rasika told the popular news portal. She acknowledged that the audience’s love for Mirzapur 3 had been palpable, even if some viewers felt it differed from their expectations. “I feel every kind of response is good and welcome,” she added, highlighting her appreciation for the ongoing conversation around the show.

There was a lot of speculation on possible plots and character developments for upcoming seasons after seeing the pictures. The mystery was increased by the way the pair looked in the pictures, breaking from their usual personas.

We have the best audience,” she said. The actress clarified that the pictures aimed to offer a “stylised take on the Guddu-Beena relationship so far.”
