MUMBAI: Action thriller Mirzapur on Amazon Prime was a massive hit and was loved the audience. The series was well appreciated and loved by viewers because of its solid screenplay, mind-blowing storyline, and amazing performances.

The series is based on a war between gangs with the theme of betrayal and interesting twists and turns.

Pankaj Tripathy as Kaleen Bhaiya steals the show, while Ali Fazal aka Guddu and Vikrant Massey aka Bablu make for convincing goons.

 Divyendu Sharma plays the role of Munna, Kaleen's son.

As we know, the story of season 1 gave a hint that season 2 is in the making.

The story ended in such a way that it kept all the viewers excited and wanting to know what will happen next.

Recently, on during Valentine's Day, Ali Fazal posted a picture in which he is holding a board that says, 'The only date I wants this Valentine’s is  Mirzapur release date'.

In a recent interview, Mirzapur actor Vikrant Massey said that when they started the shoot of season 1, he was not informed that his character will die and that he came to know about this much later.

Recently while interacting with the media, the actor was asked if he was a part of season 2, to which he said that he can’t say anything right now as it is too early. He also said that to know whether he will be seen in season 2, we will have to wait and watch. He may or may not be there in the series. 

Now, while speaking about season 2, the actor said, 'Yes, season 2 is wrapped up and soon we are going to witness the madness of Mirzapur. The editing and sound mixing part is going on. Once that is done, the makers will announce the date.'
