MUMBAI: We are just 3 days away from the release of the much-awaited web show Mirzapur season 2, not only the fans but the star cast and the makers too are very much excited to showcase the series to all the fans, looking at the tremendous response around the globe, the fans are eagerly waiting for the 2nd part of the show and finally, the wait is going to be over.
Team TellyChakkar got an Exclusive chance to speak with the lead of the show Ali Fazal, who was loved in the role of Guddu Bhaiya, the actor while conversing with us was very excited looking at the response his character is garnering and revealed, initially when season 1 was out, he never knew that the wait and the excitement of the season 2 will be this huge and he is joyous to witness the response he is getting for Guddu Bhaiyya.
Talking about his character extension in season two the actor said, it will be great to see Guddu Bhaiyya once again in lethal form seeking for revenge after losing his half family in season one, a person can take any sort of decision and finish himself, but Guddu is a strong-willed person and what he does will be amazing to see in season two
The actor on missing his co-star Shriya Pilagaonkar and Vikrant Massey opens up that he missed them a lot on sets and called them several times while shooting and sharing the location memories, he also remembers having Vikrant in season 1, his half of on-screen work was done because they both are brothers in the series and gave maximum shots together and now he misses him a lot.

The actor revealed that one thing which he loved about his character Guddu from season one will be the romantic side of his Character Guddu towards his love interest Sweety (played by Shriya Pilgaonkar) because being a goon there was another side of Guddu too which was heartwarming.
The actor goes on to tell that though the show is a crime thriller the scenario on sets was completely different from being serious and it was complete madness on the sets having funny moments every now and then.
He signed off saying that they have really enjoyed working on the series and there was immense hard work that went on behind it and the whole team can't wait for the fans to witness and pass their verdict.
Well, this indeed increases the excitement level of Mirzapur to another level. We are sure the fans all over the world will be more than excited to see their Guddu Bhaiya!
