Ormax Media, a leading research and insights firm, has released data showcasing the top-viewed titles on streaming platforms in various categories, providing a glimpse into the preferences of the Indian audience.
Hindi Web Series: Farzi Leads the Pack
Topping the charts among Hindi web series was "Farzi," featuring Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi, captivating a staggering 37.1 million viewers. The show not only claimed the title of the most-watched Hindi web series but also secured its place as the most-watched Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) series in India of all time. Following closely was Aditya Roy Kapur's "The Night Manager," with 28.6 million viewers. Bhuvan Bam's "Taaza Khabar" secured a viewership of 23.5 million, followed by "Asur Season 2" and "Taali," with 21 million and 17.8 million viewers, respectively.
Top Hindi Films Online: Bawaal Sparks Controversy
In the realm of Hindi films released online, Nitesh Tiwari's controversial "Bawaal," starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, claimed the top spot with 21.2 million viewers. The film courted controversy for its handling of the Holocaust tragedy. Shahid Kapoor's "Bloody Daddy" secured the second position with 17 million viewers, followed by "Gulmohar" and "Tumse Na Ho Payega," with 16.3 million and 14.3 million viewers, respectively.

International Favorites: Citadel and Heart of Stone Shine
In the realm of international shows, Priyanka Chopra-starrer "Citadel" claimed the top spot with 17 million viewers. "The Mandalorian" and "Sex Education Season 4" secured 11.3 million and 10.2 million viewers, respectively. In international films, Alia Bhatt's Hollywood debut "Heart of Stone" ranked second after Chris Hemsworth's "Extraction 2," with 8.5 million and 9.8 million viewers, respectively.
