MUMBAI:  Aaliya Siddiqui has been in a public feud with estranged husband, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for months now. The couple have been making headlines for various accusations they have put on each other. Aaliya tried to clear her image by also making an appearance in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT, but was unfortunately out of the house in the second week as many found her unrelatable.

Aaliya has earlier taken to her Instagram page to share a picture with a mystery man and wrote a cryptic post with it. She wrote, “It has taken over 19 years to get out of the relationship that I treasured.

But in my life, my children are my priority, they were always and they will be.

However, there are few relationships that are bigger than and beyond friendship, and this relationship is the same relationship and I am very happy about the same hence shared my happiness with you all. Don’t I have the right to be happy?”

Speaking of telling her daughter about teh new man in her life, Aaliya said, “My daughter had asked about him, I told her there is nothing like that. She even told me that she will respect me if I tell her the truth. I will tell my daughter for sure but this is not the right time. There is always a right time for such things but this is not the time’

Revealing about her marriage plans, Aaliya said, “Woh thodi mature hojaye ek-do saal. Mera shaadi ko leke toh kuch hai nahi bas friendship hai. Ek saath chahiye, dosti chahiye, kisike saath waqt guzarna hai. Uske alawa aur kya hai? Koi aisa toh hai nahi ki live-in mein reh rahe ho ya shaadi kar rahe ho. Ek relationship tha, ek feeling thi aur maine share kardia. Usse jyada badkar kuch bhi nahi hai.”

Talking about the new man in her life Aaliya had earlier told a news portal, “I met him in Dubai. We have shared this special bond for quite some time now, but it is only now that I decided to share with everyone. I want him to be a mystery man only, nahi toh he will also be dragged into the public eye. He is very simple and I want him to be away from all this.”
