MUMBAI: Pooja Gor is a well known face in the entertainment world. After being part of several Tv show, Pooja has ventured into the OTt space with projects like 'The Verdict - State vs Nanavati', 'Shrikant Bashir' and most recently in 'Guns & Gulaabs'. She has been grabbing the attention of viewers with her amazing performance on all platforms.
Pooja now spoke about the censorship on OTT content. She told a news portal, “I don't know if we have a specific censorship committee dedicated to OTT or not. But every project that we do and comes out still has certification. They still do have certifications for it. So far, it hasn't been as strict, for lack of better word, as compared to Bollywood or television.’
Pooja further said, “It is actually a good thing for now, because then we have a lot of freedom to make a lot of content which is experimentative in nature. With the advent of so many new directors, actors and writers, we can make a lot of stories that often need to be heard and told but go unheard because of certain censorship marcations. So, I feel how it currently is, works for now. Maybe if it doesn't, then of course, we have the right people at the right places who know what they are doing and if our regulations need to be a certain way for the censorship on OTT. They will eventually become that.”
