MUMBAI: Actress Jiya Shankar is a well-known name in the television industry.
The stunning actress has appeared in several hit TV shows in her long career span.
After trying her hands at different kinds of roles, Jiya has made her debut in the country's most popular reality show.
She was seen as a contestant in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and the fans were excited to watch her on the show.
Her game was liked by the audience and she was seen as one of the strongest contestants of the show.
But unfortunately, she was eliminated owing to fewer votes, just three days before the finale. Her fans were left heartbroken.
She was known for her friendship with Abhishek on this show and she did confess her feelings for him. Fans named them #Abhiya, which keeps trending on social media.
The actress was also close to Elvish Yadav in the last two–three weeks and their friendship was also liked in the Bigg Boss house.
In a recent interview the actress spoke about Elvish and Abhishek’s fight and talks about her bond with Elvish.
When asked about the fight between Abishek and Elvish the actress said “I have no idea what is happening, because Elvish wanting to return the trophy is huge and I don’t want to get into this because I know they will sort it out, they were good friends even outside the house post the show. Plus before Bigg Boss they knew each other and everyone has seen their brotherhood and if the bond is not there today then I don’t think anyone should get involved because tomorrow again they could be friends and then the middle person will fall in trouble. I don’t want to get in between both the fan doms let them only solve it.”
She also spoke about her bond with Elvish, “Inside the house I was being me and I didn’t care who is who I will be good to you if you're me I don’t care who you are. Actually he was my rival and we fought a lot but towards the end we spoke and mended things and genuinely he is a lovely person to know. Everything changed what we thought about each other and he is a good guy and that’s why I met him even post the show. “
At the end, she revealed if she was in touch with any of the Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 contestants “I am not in touch with anyone, I was in touch with Abhishek but not anymore as he is busy and so am I. Everyone is busy in their life so I feel once everyone settles down we can catch up until then I don’t think it’s possible to keep in touch.”
Well, there is no doubt that Jiya is very upfront in her thoughts and she speaks her heart out and that is one thing that the audience and fans loved about her.
