MUMBAI: Sonam Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 release The Zoya Factor which was a flop at the box office. The actress did a cameo in AK Vs AK which was an OTT release, and now, she is all set to be back with the movie Blind.
Blind will be getting an OTT release on Jio Cinema and today, the teaser of the film has been released. The movie is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. The original film was earlier remade in Tamil titled Netrikann and starred Nayanthara in the lead role.

Even the Tamil remake had received an OTT release, and though it received a mixed response from the critics, Nayanthara’s performance was appreciated. Now, today, the teaser of Sonam Kapoor’s Blind has been released and while some netizens are comparing the film to Nayanthara’s Netrikann, some are happy to see Sonam back.
A netizen commented, “Korean Movie remade first in Tamil as Netrikkan and now this.....But honestly Nayanthara did a far better job.” Another Instagram user wrote, “Sonam after long time.....!!! Excited @sonamkapoor Since 2019 I guess & purab even u do well OUT OF LOVE was Terrific.” One more netizen commented, “Kya yaar fir se remake... Pehele hollywood ke peeche pade... Blind, which is directed by Shome Makhija, also stars Purab Kohli in the pivotal role. The movie will premiere on Jio Cinema on 7th July 2023.
